چکیده

Indonesia has a high potential for pearl oyster farming due to its diverse marine habitats, warm waters, and abundant supply of seaweed, which is the preferred food oysters. home several species oysters, including Pinctada maxima, are prized their large size quality pearls. Water plays crucial role in cultivation maxima. Factors such as temperature, pH, salinity, dissolved oxygen levels, presence pollutants pathogens can all impact health survival In addition feed seed availability, good water management key success this biota seedling. This research was carried out by measuring parameters levels waters temporally morning evening every day cultivation. Variables ammonia, nitrite, total suspended solids, bacteria, vibrio bacteria were once week. The results temperature measurements range from 28.2-290C. Measurement solids 0 mg/l. pH ranged 8.1-8.3. Dissolved 4.16-4.27 Salinity obtained 35 ppt. Ammonia 0-1.55 Nitrite 0.012-0.026. <1 X 101 cfu/ml samples. yielded Based on that been done, show still optimal (Pinctada maxima) hatchery activities.

Determination of Gender in the Pearl Oyster Pinctada margaritifera

The pearl industry in French Polynesia is based on exploitation of natural stocks of the blacklip pearl oyster (Pinctada margaritifera). It generates an annual turnover of €90 million. Improvements in pearl quality need genetic studies to improve the populations. This pearl oyster is a protandric species, in which the sex ratio normally is biased toward males. There is an increasing interest in...

Population dynamic of pearl oyster pinctada radiata in 2 habitats of Lavan Island, Persian Gulf

As pearling has been banned since 2006 in Persian Gulf, growth and mortality rate of Mohar pearl oyster in its old habitats was surveyed in present research. For early survey and identification of habitats of Mohar pearl oyster Pinctada radiata, primary sea tours in coastal waters of Lavan Island, were done. Two habitats were identified and sampled seasonally from autumn 2011 to summer 2012, to...

Genetic linkage map of the pearl oyster, Pinctada martensii (Dunker)

Genetic linkage maps were constructed with ampli¢ed fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) and microsatellite markers for the pearl oyster, Pinctada martensii (Dunker), the main bivalve used for marine pearl production in Asia. Twenty-four AFLP and 84 microsatellite primer pairs were used for linkage analysis in a full-sib family with two parents and 78 o¡spring. Of the 2357 AFLP fragments generat...
